A HUGE hug and thank you to everyone who made this trial possible!
Thank you Keith Jobe for being such a solid and sure Deputy Judge, you helped many of us deal with trial nerves and kept us moving from exercise to exercise in a timely manner. Thank you Marcia Lucas for making sense of the score sheets and keeping it all straight, and we loved watching you and your lab as level 1 DIW!. Laurie Paffet gave an amazing performance both days as food refusal helper, and major domo distraction mistress. Her sounds with the bull horn, the bad dog action with the whip, and as a tall dark warrior lass, were inspiring! Laurie also provided us with wonderful tile and pin Malinois art used for judge's gift and thank you. And as always, Diane Wray lent her bit of scottish humor to it all, acting as judge's secretary and creating many of the weapons and props for this trial. We hear her husband Jody had a bit of fun with the weapons making too.
Thank you to the MR1 competitors Aida, Jill, and Ann who joined Jolie, Marcia, and Laurie on the field to be a posse of wenches, a horde of lasses, a gaggle of armed beauties (as described by Jeremy). Marsha Boggs of Endeavor WDC hauled the trailer along with the blinds out to the field early every morning. All the visiting handlers were amazing, stepping in to help where needed. Elane made sure we got the hay bales, plus tents and tables, then went on to earn a SchH2 at a trial this same weekend. Jill Fryling saved us by sawing all the little woods down to the correct length of 10 cm, then sanded the edges so they looked nice. Donna Matey lent flags and her gun and her professional demeanor. Charley Bartholomew and many others helped Steve Garvin who managed all the heavy lifting and fencing to get the field put together, and then taken down. Every single participant and spectator tore down the field in a whirl wind of effort - I have never seen such support in any other sport.

Thank you all who stuffed tickets into raffle prizes to help support this event. And a extra special hug to Diane wray who worked hard all year round to find sponsors for our event and put together another amazing raffle! And another hug to Susan and her husband David Ramsey who built the mondio equipment and not only hauls it around for us, but stores it on his property. The Ramseys also brought the jump and palisade and talked the ski hill into letting us borrow their pretty blue fencing and brought plenty of stakes. Susan worked to help make everything better - she painted jumps and kept food on the field. Everywhere I looked I saw club members like Ugne and Amanda and visiting handlers working hard. They helped to make this a fun and memorable trial.

A special thank you to Judge Neal Wallis from Norway, who poured his enthusiasm and knowledge into a first rate trial that tested all of us. Additionally he was very kind to the field help and spent much time explaining how to do things to make a better run trial. Whenever asked, he gave good suggestions for handling and training. And not least, thank you to both decoys, Jeremy Norton and Chris Moody. They not only worked hard to challenge the dogs, but they kept us entertained! Both men showed admirable enthusiasm and contribute in a big way to the sport of Mondioring.
A special thank you to
